There is a slight time delay from when a person registers for an event till their registration is tabulated on the Leaderboard on the Race participant and donation totals.
The applicant totals in the admin area is where you want to refer to for the current registration totals.
Race Directors have the Option of removing the Participant Box from appearing on their event page. This option is on the bottom of the race information page.
